Starts To Fade

I see your life on your page
It's in's and out on your wall
I here the things she tells me
I listen to the words she says
Apart of me feels closed off
I sometimes feel regret
Maybe I chose the wrong path
Did I set off on the wrong foot?
My heart becomes heavy
with each new word I hear
Your life has changed
I'm hardly in it
My consequence, my action
I chose to leave
Your chose to stay
Your moving on without me
I'm being left behind
But then I tried to image
My life without the new people I've met
It can't be done
They are firmly hold a place
In my world, my life, my heart
I remember the rut
that was my life before
the more I remember
The lighter my heart becomes
And the regret...
It starts to fade.
