Stars That Passed

I wonder if you remember the good times...
A sunlit morning with words and rhymes...
Coffee and juice with strawberries served...
A morning treat and much loved deserved...
Our getaways have drifted to dust....
A past once so clear is tattered with rust....
Memories some good and some bad...
Hope when you think of me the feelings are not sad...
We were two stars that collided that were way to bright...
But there will always be a corner of my heart that still
holds you tight...

Bittersweet and beautifully written Michael. I think we all save a corner of our hearts for a certain star ~ Sharon :)

We should never forget those we once held dear, Michael. As Catie said, "I like your attitude!" And there are many times I remember those stars that passed through my life with great fondness. Love, Carolyn

Wonderful memories about your past love...I often think about my ex and the good times...just as Wilma said, everything happens for a reason. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Emily

I always think that people meet for a reason even when it doesn't work out, sometimes that person is exactly what you needed at that particular time in your life.. Learned that the hard way lol.. Enjoyed this write Michael.. Great memories, luv W
