Stars That Cry

Gazing up late at the night sky,
I watch them stars, they tear and cry

That they can not bring thee back to me,
No matter the wishes that I set free.

And aye, thy love is not the first to pass
But I know it might just be the last,

As thee were a feeling, it grew without clue,
And it won't be gone with the shadow of you.

I tell them stars not to wee,
As I keep thee safe in my box of dreams.

I have you bright in my darkest of days,
Thus to you they might just find a way.
