Stars In Our Eyes
Stars in our eyes
Twinkle twinkle little star, how we gaze your distance far
Years of light never to touch, thought provoke a welcomed crutch
The creator of life, a power unmatched
Will nourish a planet, or burn it black ash
Twinkle twinkle little star, did you make us who we are
Why so cold, and why so hot
A blinding beauty, forget me not.
Glistening away to the back drop of night
Like a dancing diamond or a firework flight
Enormous and small, you decorate the skies
With adoring thanks, for the stars in our eyes.
