Stars In My Eyes
The stars in the sky oh such a great wonder.
What makes them stay up there it does make me ponder.
The beauty of all these glimmering stars.
While I lie on the ground and watch from afar.
Wishing I could just reach up and touch one.
Hoping that the magic they have won't be gone.
Suddenly a shooting star catches my eye.
I didn't think that a star could fly.
These are the things I thought as a child.
But when you're young your mind can run wild.
