Starry Trail, Riding West Poem
I'm on starry trails ridin' West!
I'm on starry trails ridin' West!
Starry trails and totems,
Wondrous journey!
I'm a ridin' toward the golden west.
The desert hides prickly cacti so playful.
I'm carrying a tent to get my rest.
For this rugged life, I'm always grateful!
In my dreamy mind, I'm always riding.
The reddish sunrise bathes me and brightens.
The various birds I see flying.
Animals below, from them are hiding!
I once helped round up some joyous cattle.
Afterwards, my friends all poured fine whiskey.
At dusk, I sought a bright starry saddle.
So soft, with bright colors, it suited me.
I tried to be in Vegas by sundown.
Before moonlight wrapped silence around!

Starry trails and totems,
Wondrous journey!
I'm ridin' toward the western sky.
The desert hides bright cacti full of cheer.
I'm carrying a tent where I will lie.
For rugged wandering life, I'm grateful here.
Across the west, I'm always riding.
The golden sunrise fills my heart with light.
Above, I see many birds flying.
Below, small animals stay out of sight.
Starry Trails and Totems!
In Las Vegas there is much to do.
I love to eat breakfast in restaurants.
Then I watch clouds flow across the sky blue.
Bright ground sings like growing cacti plants.
The horse, my chosen western animal.
He carries me freely across the desert.
What I can see nearby is minimal.
All of nature evokes a dream concert!
Rugged cow-folk like us must gamble!
Our own lives for merry, bright adventures!
Proud to be a pack of roaming ramblers!
Cosmos pushes us to grander ventures.
As long as I'm rollin' along, I'll make a song!
And drive the stubborn cow herd along!
The cosmic cowgirl's on starry trails,
Ridin' tall, far, and west!ward!
She's on starry trails ridin' West!
We're all on starry trails ridin' West!
