Starry Night

We met every night, she'd wait for me Under the starry skies, no shadows would peep Drifting in her eyes deep, sinking within I’d lay next to her, shared memories Tonight, I feel the sky looks old I hold her hand, it’s nothing but cold Her lips are blue, her eyes are sore She keeps on knocking heavens door The stars collapsed, falling in on me But instead of warm, they felt snowy Slowly, my senses start to elevate My vision becomes clearer but she fades I feel its repeating, its yesterday again I’m alone in the graveyard lying in the rain Maybe she had never left, and it was just a dream Maybe I’m an insomniac, its again caffeine.
