Words ending in "ing" are in the Present Perfect tense. Look at your grammar manual, Al!

My understanding of haiku it should be in present tense and its a no, no to use rhyme. So i would work on it.

It is written in the present tense! Re-read it! The ing may or may not be considered a rhyme!
