Starry Night

   In a Van Gogh painting
   cheap wine and waiting
   inside our favorite cafe
   out of focus strange day
   swirling forever wars
   madness midnight stars
   satisfy my lust's desire
   quenching passion's fire
   Morphine in the vein
   quiets the war's pain.

Beautiful use of language. This is such a lovely tribute to Vincent Van Gogh. He is my most favorite artist of all time. My most favorite of his works is "Starry Night".
