Staring Into the Abyss

You may stand staring at the abyss For my whereabouts in life's eclipse To just find my rusted shadows Where eternal winds of darkness blow For I am mossy jagged edges beneath your feet Soaked in freeze of fate's downbeat When I hear sound of sobbing rain I cling to filthy cavities of disdain Decayed veins running beneath my skin Curled to burnt frames of bin Your torpid footsteps losing memories of momentum Shall fail to gather my littered hopes after doldrums From your closed palms smell of love escaped long On your return my cinereous silence shall tag along 20/3/2019 Sponsor-Edward Ibeh
