Staring Into the Abyss

You may stand staring at the abyss
For my whereabouts in life's eclipse

To just find my rusted shadows
Where eternal winds of darkness blow

For I am mossy jagged edges beneath your feet
Soaked in freeze of fate's downbeat

When I hear sound of sobbing rain
I cling to filthy cavities of disdain

Decayed veins running beneath my skin
Curled to burnt frames of bin

Your torpid footsteps losing memories of momentum
Shall fail to gather my littered hopes after doldrums

From your closed palms smell of love escaped long
On your return my cinereous silence shall tag along
