Stargazer Lilies
In a glass vase, the lilies' buds gently unfold,
With pallid pink shades, a sight to behold.
Their perfume fills up the entire space,
Refreshing the air in my quiet place.
I take deep breaths to experience the treasure,
Can’t have enough of this fragrant pleasure.
An unspoken communication they have with me,
Through petals, colors and aromas, they speak to me.
They stand in the water with simplicity, so pure,
Extend affection and renew the atmosphere.
Confined to a vase, they yet brighten the day,
Genuine smiles they bring, in their modest way.
