Stargazer

Stargazer Life is not a fairy tale There’s no meaning in the stars Only in yourself And the world you build Happily ever after Is a story unfinished Every timeline entertains disasters Life is all in the relief effort Once upon a time There was all the time in the world A journey charted through the stars Life happened House, job, fell in love with a girl Now I watch the stars from my backyard Every one I see Makes me wonder how much time has passed As galaxies silently twirl Like a clock they wave their arms But my watching is set too slow I wave back Then head inside to hold my girl Turning off lights and alarms So our universe can glow While it can
