Stardust

It was written in the stars
more or less the moles on my back

I admired the sun, the stars, the moon
it all started one darkened night

I gathered my wits and pushed down the confusion
I led them all in a great revolution

We walked all morning and ran all day
    somehow we did not decay

I stopped them at the edge of time
a few more steps and they all were mine

I gathered my tears, and scattered them all
then disappeared like an unseen love
