Stardust
Burning flame, ensouling light,
keeps illusions safe at night.
As I was sleeping in my bed,
a storm was gathered in my head.
Where elements are thought to form
another world was being born.
Dark matter that would have no face,
so silent is it’s cold embrace.
Melting minutes, weaving lore,
walked through time’s swinging door.
Remember love lying dormant
within this world filled with torment.
A spark I did recognize shot forth from the flame,
glowing embers deep inside, calling out my name.
It’s shining little particles, of the sweet divine
fell into my soul that night, waiting for me to find.
Missive from a phantom realm, with splendor in its lips
reached across the path of time, with unseen fingertips.
Just a dream, some memory riding on the air,
just a dream that stayed with me leaving my soul bare.
