Star Trek Convention

I've been one to enjoy a good Star Trek episode,
but to a convention I would never go.
There's something very disturbing about that world.
I bet that most of those guys never even kissed a girl.
What started out as an enjoyable TV show
has clearly gotten out of control.
Some of them could have learned Italian, French or Spanish
but instead chose to learn the entire Klingon language.
A language which serves no purpose to anyone
in our society or any other civilization.
If Mr Spock could manifest himself to all of them
he'd say, "Live long and prosper is not your destination."
All of you hard core Trekies please heed my advice.
Join the real human race and get yourselves a life.

Lizzie Treetop December 1, 2011 at 4:03 PM I suppose everyone needs something to stir them up, to each his own! That is also proably part of belonging to the human race! ( never watched not interested but glad it brings excitement to others!) The Entertainment Industy needs the dollars it brings!

Tony Lane December 1, 2011 at 11:27 AM My wife once asked me if i would like to go to a convention because I am a fan. I told her that i could not imagine anything that i would want to do less. She had already purchased the tickets so we went. I don't think that we stayed for even a half of an hour. Yikes.
