Notes About The Poem

Star Pupil

Star Pupil
A teacher took a girl aside to mention
That he had noticed her lack of attention
And had done nothing at all today in class
The pupil replied “oh sir, indeed I have.”

“I composed a poem, it’s my best one yet”
“I’m sure you will agree, so please do not fret”
He knew here was a pupil with ambition
A star in making following her vision.
3rd September 2021
