Star of My Life
Somewhere along the way
I managed to fall in love with you.
The love I have found
in your arms
was a gift I didn't think
was ever a possibility for me.
I never expected
to have this feeling.
I always knew
I was missing something,
that I had a
huge void in my life.
A void so immense,
it went straight
to my soul.
I didn't know that it
could be overflowed
with one person.
I have lived all these years
without you.
Now, I can't imagine continuing
down this path of life
without you at my side.
You are the star of my life
shining brightly in my night
guiding me home.
