Star Gazer

Hundreds of pinpoint lights in the sky
Just one of the many wonders to be seen by the naked eye
Every night I reach up to grab one
Of course I can’t ….. But it’s worth a try
Their distance from the spot that I stand is astonishing …. My oh my!
For now I will just sit here and enjoy the beauty of their patterns
Soon the sun will rise and I will have to say bye

O I do the same! I gaze and want to reach there already dying light, but still wish, if I reach, I'll be wanted tonight, and even though the sun will rise, he's followed by the moonlight eyes! your poems of stars and space are definitely of my interest :D
