Star

I gaze at a star as if it were you;
Standing in a constellation queue.
I long for The night to see you again;
To talk to you my griefs and pains.
You never return a word ,but that's fine
You're too far ;it takes some time .
You hear my words ,I hear your silence;
I'm your nothing , you're my reliance.
I wonder what you look like up close?
You look mine that's what I suppose .
Even when the moon outshines the sky;
You're the one who lights up my eye .

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
