Legacy long lasting, Even after it’s passing, Many have called it’s branches home. Birds betrothed, Chicks chirping in nest And the squirrels like it best. Standing tall It’s the start of fall, leaves crunch under feet, Branches break over time, Sap leaks from inside, Acorns litter the ground beneath, Wildlife is pleased By this life bringing tree, Who provides and protects Standing tall, Show it respect.
