Standing Strong
Knock me down with a feather and blow me away with a breeze. Have me crash me back down again to surrender on my knees.
Hold a torch to tinder, raze me to the ground. Make sure nothing is left to remind you;no memories around.
Like the light at sunset and the same again at it's rise, a fleeting beauty to behold and see with your own eyes.
Make a snap decision and act on impulse alone to show the ways I have prospered and the ways in which I've grown.
Regain composure and strengthen my soul for the fight I havent yet led. I build my fears, my hopes and dreams and live them in my head.
But the most important thing of all to remember in times of strife is that people are there to help you through the rocky journey of life.
