Standing Proud

Standing proud and regal the Cheyenne Warrior looks across the land. Long gone but there was a time the buffalo were as many as the blades of grass, He sees his people are no longer free. They are forced to live by the rules of the white man’s treaty, The cries of the ancestors’ begging him to set the people free.. He understands their plea but also knows he must honor the treaty He comes to this place each day to sit and pray, In hopes he will find the answer to his prayer one day.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
