Standing In Life's Quicksand

Standing in life's quicksand. By Anthony Grider 6/20/17

In so much pain I'm in a living hell.,
No way to change the way things are.,
Seems like no one cares, O' well.,
No one can see my mental scares.
I reach out but no one to hold my hand.,
So much in my life I'm unable to mend.

O' Standing in life's quicksand.,
Not able to move.,
Things in my life I just can't mend.,
O' This I can't rise above.
O' I reach out but no one to hold my hand.,
O' Standing in life's quicksand.,
Sinking in life's quicksand.

This depression I just can't rise above.,
I just can't get over this huge wall.,
I feel so lost like I can't move.,
Hard to stand so easy to fall.
As I sink on down no one to see my hand.,
Sinking down in life's quicksand.,
So much that I'm unable to mend.

O' Standing in life's quicksand.,
O' I'm unable to move.,
Things in my life I just can't mend.,
O' How can I over come and rise above.,
When theres no one to hold my hand.,
Things I just can't mend.,
O' Standing in life's quicksand.,
O' Sinking down in life's quicksand.

They say get over it you have to be strong.,
That's easier said then done.,
It's hard when you feel all alone.,
All the problems in my head it's not fun.
O' no, no one to hold my hand.,
So much in my life I can't mend.,
Sinking in life's quicksand.

O' I'm standing in life's quicksand.,
No not able to move.,
So much in my life I can't mend.,
O' This I just can't rise above.
O' Standing in life's quicksand.,
O' No one to hold my hand.,
So much in my life I just can't mend.,
O' Standing in life's quicksand.,
O' Sinking down in life's quicksand.
