Standing Among the Seagulls

I am standing among the seagulls
up on the slippery rocks by the sea
as they fly all around and close to me
the smell and sound of the cold sea air is overpowering
I realize what God wants me to be
free from worry doubt and misery
what a magical place in the universe this is
as the waves crash upon the rocks
and splash all around me
this is our magnificent nature at her best
as she should be
if you find me here alone
know that I am not lonely
