Stand Your Ground

Do you know what's wrong from right
Will you ever feel contrite
Can you leave the dark for light
Or must you stand your ground

Do you admit when you are wrong
Will you be kind and still be strong
Can you tell it's been too long
Or must you stand your ground

If you need to know your worth
If you want to move the earth
If you wish for love's rebirth
Then you must stand your ground

Stand where love's your guiding light
Stand apart from those who'd fight
Stand with those who just do right
But you must stand your ground

Very complex thought, this write. Staying true to ones convictions has its challenges.
