Stand In the Pouring Rain

Deep down pain is buried,
deep down the soul, from within.
As always, ready to continue on,
pretending happy, with a phony grin.

Placing the pain, aside, to not deal with,
in the distance, like sailor, sailing out to sea.
No matter, where one then truly goes, the pain,
is still there, where ever, one might, then be.

No escape is there, must face, the truth ahead,
despite the falling of drops upon one's window pane.
The only way of which to see the rainbow, past the darkness,
is to at times, get drench, and stand in, the pouring rain.
