Stand By Me
When stars' twinkle
begin to dwindle,
and the moon ceases to glow,
I won’t have fear or sorrow,
as long you stand by me
When the skies fall down
from countryside to town,
leaving us in horrid suspension,
I won’t drown in frustration,
as long as you stand by me
When the world is filled with fire
and smoke of rebellion in the streets,
as people take lives without fear,
I won’t cry,
I won’t shed a tear;
just as long you stand by me
O, faith, stand by me forever........
