Stalwart Owl Left Behind
Stalwart owl on the trunk of a tree
Left behind by a busy family
They forgot a few things on moving day
I scooped him up, and took him far away
Serious owl on my back porch now
Being commented on. Some say “Wow!”
I am so glad he is mine; we are together, we two.
I am excited to say I have named him Who.
