Stairing Down the Moon

Through a veil of light
Within a realm of stars...
Its not Venus
And it's not Mars.
Stairing down the Moon,
My mind wanders away.
Tripping through time, falling from space
My thoughts upon clouds, softly lay.
Echoes in every utter,
A hollow within mind...
My soul is to set free
Leaving the body behind.
Sanity locked in a cell...
Life is bleeding from me, Baby...
I'm stairing down the Moon, now;
It's all that I can see.
Stairing down the Moon...
Trying to understand, somehow,
Why I've never been farther away from me
Than I am...right now.
