Staggering Heat
Ninety one degrees in the staggering heat
Has mysteriously erupted my heart beat
The savior is sitting in the burning fleet
Waiting patiently for the day to complete
Voices of pain trapped in the lane
Voices of hope reminiscing about
Voices of love singing a merry song
Voice of hate is banging on the gate
And the voice of peace is echoing above
Big dog, little dog searching around the hall
Nose pointed towards the target
And tongue speaking to the market
Everyone is listening in on the call
Oh what a terrible brawl
I can remember the day when my spirit was at ease
And the multitude sat quietly on the grass listening to it all
The distant wind blows gentle over the mountain
And the message flows speedily through the horizon
The birds stand graciously on the electric line
Looking sharp and shine, they too have understood
The message that was hidden underneath the wood
Oh heavens in the sky, listen to me as the cloud drift by
The morning is waiting on the sun,
And the evening is on the run
If you look carefully you can see,
The mystical expression on my face
The music is playing inside me
And the heaven is dancing around me
The big hawks are lingering in the sky
And the pelicans are standing by
Searching for the hidden fish
While they are stirring in my dish
Salt and pepper to taste,
Oh please make some haste
The miracle is standing in front of me
And I don't have to search any longer
Everyone say that I am very lucky
And the great big God had blessed me
I have been swinging from tree to tree
Holding tight to the solemn branch
I finally find a place to land in a distant place
No thorn, no thistle, indeed it was a miracle.
The heat is rising and the pressure is declining.
I am here and you are there
I am breathing fresh air
The will and the desire to stand
Has finally put us in a section all over the land.
