Stabbed
It's easy just to take a life.
If you make a choice to carry that knife.
Without no fear of consequence.
You stand alone in ignorance
We need to start to educate.
And long before they reach school gates.
Education needs to start at home.
They need to leave those knives alone.
I think it's time for some discourse.
To take a life with no remorse.
Whilst causing families hurt and pain.
Whilst taking someone's life in vain.
Do you remember when there was a time?
When you would never hear about knife crime.
But now knife, crime seems everywhere.
And those using knives, they just don't care.
They carry a knife like a badge of honour.
If you get stabbed, then you're a goner.
Just take a moment and step aside.
Please choose compassion, over pride.
To take a life with no regret.
Whilst causing pain and much upset.
No care or thought of the impact.
Whilst carrying out this violent act.
To do such act with no repentance.
Whilst ending in a prison sentance.
With one life gone and another life wasted.
Whilst leaving families so frustrated.
I think it's time to emphasize.
The seriousness of such knife crime.
To teach, to learn, to educate.
To show the youth, it's not to late.
To show the young and give them hope.
For major change, to give them scope.
So let's all hope there will become a time.
That we have said goodbye to this knife crime.
