Squinting To Yet Retain

Squinting to yet retain
Not just of it what outlines
As fruit's in tree's sight.
Are we not the more transfixed
In a fading light?

Inferred, my inner eye!
Whilst is as blurry figured
This sweet memory.
Yes, that stilly obsessed! Yes
This hour, life's, dusky.
