Squandering a Brilliant Mind

ideas jumped onto her head and back
Slid down her neck like wood ticks off of oak trees
She discounted them all
Wasting an IQ of 145,
Squandering a brilliant mind
Full of ideas 
Due to the lack of confidence in herself.

I think of all the really bright women I have met who had no idea, and did not have the confidence to show their intelligence. On the other hand, I know so many super-confident women who have the smallest pea brain thinker attached to their necks.
