Spun Out
ive seen all the colours in my mirror
until they turned to black and white
never sure what to make of it
but i always knew it wasnt right
ive seen all the twisted wire
that entwined itself around
it was absurd to witness
as it crept without a sound
ive seen without a second thought
the people start to shift
the way they move to fit
like losing such a precious gift
ive seen the one who didnt go
who stood up through the crowd
this outsider was ignored
i guess he wasn't very loud
ive seen a change that never happened
and resolutions go undone
i wonder how this spool would spin
if it never had been spun
