Notes About The Poem

I hope I learned enough from Barb to make it happen..

Springtime Without You

Springtime Without You

Springtime's almost here without you
Time for blooms and leaves on trees
Time for fixing up the garden
Time for cleaning up the freeze

I have trimmed up all the trees and plants
All the ones you said I might
Hope they're not too tall or short
Hoping that I've trimmed them right

You always loved your garden
When the flowers were in bloom
I'll try again to make it happen
To give the honey bees a room

Hummingbirds will join them
From somewhere, in the south they'll fly
Butterflies will gather round
On their on bush by and by

Birds will be coming to their feeders
I always try to keep them full
You watched them from the back porch
You always loved the outdoor pull

Springtime was your favorite time
Time for greening up your thumb
I'll attempt to do it for you now
Please help me where you're watching from
