Springtime the Season of the Bee

Springtime the Season of the Bee
By Franklin Price

Springtime the Season of the bee
That flits around for hours
Helping nature reproduce
By pollinating flowers

Blooming flowers feed the bees
With nectar in their throats
The bees make honey in their hives
Enough to float some boats

The beekeeper clones the hives of bees
To fake a hollow tree
The bees find this imposter
It's easy and it's free

Well it's not free exactly
What's their pay I'll give a hint
It's what they've made from nectar
Their honey is their rent
