Springtime Sensations
How sweet the scent of purple plum
With spring's first burst of blooms;
The lilac, rose, chrysanthemum,
A palette of perfumes.
Aromas roll and flow so lush,
Imbued with springtime's face;
Caressing senses with such plush
Intoxicating grace.
Each fragrance sensed will take control
Of longings deep within,
While nature bares her secret soul
And shares her hidden sin,
Still carried lightly on the breeze,
Seductive and so pure,
Erasing winter's wicked freeze
With springtime sun's allure.
The honey-bee and stamen kiss,
Producing ecstasy,
As nature lulls the bee with bliss
To ferry blooms to be.
