Spring's Restless Child
She lies crouched, with avarice eyes
Peering out from faux summer’s guise
Not yet the spark to light up the night
Nor quite the voice to scatter with fright
Just a glint in June’s fiery eye
Poised to pounce as warm winds draw nigh
