Springs Proof of Life
Autumn can be beautiful with morning dew reflecting sun’s early beams as it condenses upon moor
The winter with its snow is clean and pure
The summer is mountains surrounded with green fields and beach and ocean like sky azure
But when one needs proof of life’s strength it is spring that will reassure
Song author sang that not spring but autumn is his favorite time
And in many ways autumn is sublime
When symphony of color with wind zigzagging among leaves like song among notes is in prime
But beginning of war with smell of lead and gas was also at fall’s time
But spring is the time when streams are surrounded by marsh marigold
When wind between the boughs of weeping willow sings ballads of the old
When sunset in the mountains is truly violet and gold
But most of all it is the time when flowers and with them life will unfold
This is why now with fall’s rain murmuring in windows spring I extol
Spring when flowers of sage open violet like a soul
When primrose opening is like reference less destiny of pure idea the very time will console
Proof of glory of life and that is why spring is better than fall
