Spring's Gifts

Scented flowers permeate the core of my senses
As daytime reminders of beauty, simply abound
While soft springtime breezes offer me caresses
Dreamlike singing of nature fills head with sound

Alive we are, to partake in these glorious days
Enlivened we are, by springs many beautiful ways

Softly then, our minds are carried upon the clouds
Where from our perch, we take in all the splendor
Given to our hearts, is truly all that nature allows
Of which we then will gladly always surrender

Alive we are, with happiness filling our hearts
Enlivened we are, by the feelings spring imparts
