Daffodils and Forsythia bloom 'Tis nigh unto spring's costume When roses abloom Birds consume Feed 'Pon delicate flowers' nectar storeroom Ah! Releasing spring's perfume When roses abloom Birds consume Seed Those seed of Hyacinth ancient heirloom Scattering sunshine not gloom When roses abloom Birds consume Weed This form is called a Triquint It is described on the internet I hope that I did it correctly In honor of Brian Strand Contest:Any theme/ form 2 to 16 lines

I'm not one for structured prose. I just write where ever it goes. But I'm impressed with all of those. Who write so beautifully of a rose.

Beautiful, Sara! Each verse gives us a different look at spring's highlights. I also love the form and how it allowed you to alter the last line just a tad. Excellent entry for Carol's contest! Wishing you success. Love, Carolyn
