It’s the season when the countryside is renewed When a kaleidoscope of colours can be viewed Wearing emerald skirts, here comes stunning spring Hark! You can almost hear the lovely bluebells ring! Pretty pink blossom dresses the Sakura trees It will fall like confetti on the zephyr breeze Daffodils raise their sleepy heads in a blaze of gold Colourful crocuses and irises are a joy to behold Lambs gambol around in the lush green fields I adore the stunning beauty that spring time yields 03 15 17

Aww Old Buck you are too kind to me:-) I think one day I will wake up and all this writing will have been an amazing dream. From being a poetry hater at school I can't believe how I have taken to writing it as a result of my husband's cancer surgery and how my life has changed for the better forever:-) hugs jan xx

Right on, Jan. : ) +1 for lambs. Daffodils are great - one type of flower that survives and increases, rather than dying out, as most do....

Thanks Doug:-) I thought you would pick up on the lambs line :-) I am still waiting for the local farmer to get the sheep back in the field I guess they are protecting the lambs as they have already had lambs killed recently by straying dogs:-( Daffodils are beautiful but they do not last long before the flowers fade and die but they do increase their stock which is a bonus:-( hugs jan xx

Hi Jan, disregard my comment below. The site was showing a new TPOD for 3/18, but after I commented, it jumped back to your TPOD from yesterday. I tried to delete the comment but couldn't. Sorry for the mix up...hugs, Rhonda
