Spring Sentiment

Come, let's go to the lake!
It's Spring and I am your
dove-in-waiting to take.

The dogs all out romping in
the freshly-contented grass.
I will listen to your Poetry and
give you no sass!

Two poetic souls bound as 
newborn ones.
Wrapped in Spring grass and
warmed by the benevolent sun.

Just when I need a lively breathing Poem. A tercet and two quatrains make for a great reading experience. Line 8 of course is my favorite of all..Two Poetic souls.. Sounds a lot like love to me!!! Bravo

It's here, apparently a lot of living beings are blending for the season, I have baby chipmunks in my yard, young doves and cardinals and the lilies, narcissus, tulips and more and popping out all over the place. Happy Spring.

Sweet!! Chipmunks and doves! Flowers blooming all over the city. Roses...lots of them won't bloom for 30 days or more. There are multiple bushes that will flower also. I don't know what kind they are. But...lovely!)) happy spring... Hugs... Pangie xx

Madelyn, it is really helpful when we tell a Poet what worked. No point in rushing through poem with comments saying nothing. It also anchors the Poets together. Friendships are formed that way.at least, that's how I feel. I do not repeat the same comment to each Poet....that's like rubber stamping, I feel no Connection with them. I feel.,who are they...?.
