Spring Salutations

Spring Salutations Breathe in the air let it flow through your hair Stretch your arms up and out wide lookup at the sunny sky Bend down to pick bright red roses and blue flowers beware of tiny honeybees and crawlers The sun is out smiling while bluebirds, robins, and yellow finches are flying Breathe in the air let it flow through your hair Bears emerge from hibernation it’s time for a happy celebration New life grows and awakens earth’s wonder and birth cannot be mistaken Springtime is finally here greet it with a warm welcoming cheer Breathe in the air let it flow through your hair May 8, 2020 Spring Rhyme Contest Sponsor: Emile Pinet

Congratulations Anabel! Your poem earned a distinguished place in my contest. Your poem was bittersweet because it reminded me of all the things I’m missing out on this spring, well done my friend.
