Spring Meadows

Once there was a dream, of green spring meadows Bouncing rabbits munching on dandelions yellow Through the tall grass, a civilization scurries All looking in delight, for their next meal in a hurry Birds chirp pleasantly, filling the air with glee While red and brown squirrels, eat acorns on tall trees Butterflies take flight through the fresh air Sweet baby deer, glance around and stare And then came a rain storm, and at once they all fleed To shelters built up right out of debris And when the sun shone again, new flowers agrew Such admirable colors in the meadow all through Then the rain dryed, and again all was well Rays of sunshine clearing away the hell Before darkness set upon the tranquil sight To all of the animals, may they be wished good night
