Spring Is Here

Winter has given its last chilly breath
And the darkened leaves have finished there dance of death
Green saplings burst from the frozen earth below
And the dead trees begin grow

Warmth starts to flood the once icy land
Replacing the frosty winds that all had to withstand
Dew drops slide down the lifeless twigs
Onto the saplings who will soon be big

Animals quickly scatter from there homes
Wanting to start to roam
And the birds start to sing sweet melody's
Pleasing the ears of everybody

winter has passed and spring is now here
