Spring Is Coming Soon
Snowflakes cease as snowdrops rise
Peeking out at azure skies
Raindrops fall upon the lake
Iris soon in blooms awake
New blooms burst forth every day
Gerberas now are here to stay
I hear the soothing song of spring
Sweet the sound bird songs bring
Carnations in hues of red
Offer color to garden beds
Magnolias, what fragrance they imbue
Inspiring a feeling of romance too
Now look, the baby blue eyes dance
Giving hearts a desire for romance
Soft the flutter of the wings
Of butterflies in the spring
On the breeze they gently float
Now I'll watch them as I dote
..
