Spring Into Leap Years

So winter shows me yet again No hint of snows we just get rain Far too cold it's just the same Far too old too feel the pain. Blue crisp mornings bring a treat To see your yawnings freeze Birds brisk warnings sing and tweet I hear their calls with ease. Out of sight I wander by moonlight On long cold nights my star shines bright Now nights withdrawn it's fingers of ice With sun reborn I see they don't linger twice. As winter adjourns left tired and slept A spring returns to my step higher I leapt For the no show snow I have wept Where do you go? Where are you kept?
