Spring In My Mind
The trees are so green the colors so bright
Dew awakens my senses as I walk towards the light
The flowers open up as they awaken from the night
It like they open their eyes and then there is sight.
The birds sings along with such delight
Harmony in nature it seems everything's right
I walk out among them I see part of myself
So much abundance so I share in the wealth.
The ocean rises up to crash down on the beach
It constantly changes the boundaries to reach.
The sky opens up and the sun shines down on me
Beauty surrounds me it's in everything I see...
The river gently flows on its path towards the sea
It's constantly changing yet always seems to be.
Though the water passes there is more to take its place
I look into the water catch the reflection of my face.
The reflection is like a mirror allowing me to see
That though there are changes I still shall be me.
A gentle breeze cools me it whispers my name
Everything is everything and nothing is the same.
