Spring Hopes
Weary souls await the coming of spring
When life is renewed and temperatures rise
They long for warmer days and skies of blue
A blizzard had just come out of the blue
Dashing the hopes of many for an early spring
Old man winter from his slumber did rise
From this blanket of white their hopes would rise
And no longer would they have to feel blue
Knowing that it wont be long before spring
Spring fever is on the rise as gray skies turn blue
